I have had the pleasure of having Krista as my coach and trainer for many years. I don't think there is just one thing that stands out and reiterates the type of coach and trainer that she is, but the daily journey that I have had with her and my two horses Elliot and Remi.
I was so fortunate, that under Krista's expert tutelage, Elliot managed to reach Grand Prix and now in semi-retirement he is still enjoying her continuing care.
Now I have my mare, Remi, and again with Krista's patient training she is progressing nicely.
Even though Krista has been the one in the show ring with both horses, she has never made me feel that I am not a part of their journey.

Krista has drastically changed the Equestrian sport for me. When I began riding with her in 2014 at 17 years old, I had lost touch of why I loved riding. I was seriously nervous and unsure if I would continue riding. Krista treated me with respect and patience and I learned to love the sport again. She has an incredible ability to pair horses and riders, and was able to match me with my current equine partner, C.J. She helped our relationship grow, and I became braver and even started showing. Her consideration for each rider and individualized approach cannot be emphasized enough. Every rider is appreciated and all accomplishments are celebrated. Her facility at KP Dressage is friendly, peaceful and welcoming to all riders and horses. The care is exceptional, and the horses are very happy.

Krista is a wonderful teacher and mentor. When I brought Reba (my daughter's former mount) to KP Dressage, I had never ridden her and was unsure I ever would. Reba is definitely much more horse than I had ever imagined for myself! With Krista's kind guidance and support, we walk, trot and canter, and Reba is a willing and forgiving partner to a not-so-confident rider.
Everyone (staff and boarders) at KP Dressage is supportive, enbouraging and above all, fun. The stabling is immaculate and well-maintained. The stalls are spacious and boarders have large lockers, to store all our stuff away.
Finally, the care of our horses could not be in better hands. Feeding is specific to each horse's needs. Krista and her staff know each horse thoroughly, and are able to catch issues immediately. Krista is always looking for new ways to improve our horses' care. Her attention to detail shows in the care of the horses, how we progress as riders and how the facility is well cared for. I am always proud to say I ride at KP Dressage.

When I started with Krista, my over-analytical brain made it difficult to learn. I struggled to make a connection with my horse which could lead to some less than stellar rides. Thanks to Krista, I have learned to create a dialogue with my equine partner and train for success. Her training works! It's correct. When I took my horse to his first show, our training system was secure landing us with a 74% and a 76% from an international judge. The progress we have made has been remarkable. The care and the coaching for Muff and myself has been first class and I can't thank Krista enough.

I met Krista over 15 years ago when she became my coach and helped me train my 4 year old gelding. I am now training my 5 year old mare and have been fortunate enough to be stabled at her beautiful facility KP Dressage.
Not only is she an outstanding coach but an incredible horseman. I am constantly blown away with her level of knowledge and understanding of both horse and rider. I come out of my lesson learning something new every time. No lesson is the same. She has this ability to figure out how each rider can understand and grasp new concepts.
