About Kirsty Panneton

Kirsty Panneton comes from New Zealand and with her Canadian husband John, moved to Canada in December 2007. Kirsty and John decided to settle in the East Kootenay area of Golden, BC - due to its centrality to Alberta, the US border and BC ...and of course the great skiing mountain – Kicking Horse.

She has been lucky over the years to have access to top international trainers in both dressage and eventing.  She has ridden to Grand prix level in New Zealand with some notable successes including winning the FEI world challenge at PSG level in 1997, NZ Advanced champion and NZ Horse of the Year at Advanced. In 1998 she was a member of the NZ dressage team competing in Australia.

Kirsty is an International Passport Level III trainer and NCCP Competition Specialist Coach Trained, specializing in training dressage, eventing and working equitation riders at all levels. She is a successful competitor currently competing in the discipline of dressage and working Equitation. She enjoys coaching at all levels, whether it is someone wanting to ride recreationally or compete at an elite level.

Currently Kirsty is bringing on 2 promising youngsters as dressage and working equitation prospects.
